Cagayan de Oro

The Story Behind Spin City

A love letter to Limketkai's legendary '90s skating park, reimagined for a new generation of rollers.

The '90s · Limketkai

Where It All Started

If you grew up in Cagayan de Oro in the '90s, you remember the skating rink at Limketkai. It was the spot — where friendships were forged, first dates happened, and weekends were spent circling the rink to the soundtrack of the decade.

When it closed, a piece of CDO's culture went with it. For years, people asked: "Will the rink ever come back?"

In March 2025, we answered that question with Spin City. Not just a comeback — a complete reimagining. We took the nostalgia of those '90s days and built a bright, city-themed rink inspired by skylines across Asia — so every lap comes with a view.

Step Inside

The Vibe

Step inside and it's the best kind of throwback — bright lights bouncing off the floor, roller disco classics on the speakers, and that unmistakable rumble of wheels on wood.

We're not just a skating rink. We're a destination — where families spend Sunday afternoons, where kids find their balance for the first time, where barkadas throw birthdays, and where anyone who skated the old Limketkai rink gets to feel it all again.

Every session is open to everyone — first-timers, families, and lifelong rollers alike. Floor attendants are always on hand to help you find your feet.

More Than a Sport

Our Mission

We believe roller skating is more than a sport — it's a culture. It's expression, movement, music, and community all rolling together. Our mission is to make Cagayan de Oro a city where skating thrives again.

Whether you're a first-timer wobbling on wheels or a veteran pulling off tricks — you belong here. Spin City is for everyone who's ready to move.

For Families & First-Timers

Good to Know

First time rolling with us? Here's what families and first-timers ask most.

What type of skates do you have?

We use classic quad skates, and rental is included with every pass. Just show up — we'll get you laced up.

Is there someone to help us skate?

Yes. An attendant is always on hand to assist and can guide beginners through the basics — especially helpful for kids.

How does entry work?

On your first visit, scan the QR code at the counter to sign the waiver and register. You'll get a wristband for your session — keep it on, it's your pass onto the floor (and it's non-transferable). For timed passes, wristbands are collected when you leave.

Do you have student rates?

Yes — present a valid student ID at the counter to avail of student rates.
