The Story Behind Spin City

If you grew up in Cagayan de Oro in the '90s, you remember the skating rink at Limketkai. It was the spot — where friendships were forged, first dates happened, and weekends were spent circling the rink to the soundtrack of the decade.

When it closed, a piece of CDO's culture went with it. For years, people asked: "Will the rink ever come back?"

In March 2025, we answered that question with Spin City. Not just a comeback — a complete reimagining. We took the nostalgia of those '90s days and fused it with the electric energy of Asian cityscapes: the neon glow of Hong Kong, the street style of Seoul, the nightlife of Tokyo, the ambition of Shanghai.

Walk into Spin City and you're transported. Neon lights paint the walls in pink, purple, and cyan. The bass hits from the sound system as a DJ spins live. The rink floor reflects every flash of light, and the energy is contagious.
